Awe Inspiring

The energy and stage presence of Ms. Carlile alone would make me want to see her again. She sang "Babe, I'm Gonna Leave You" by Led Zeppelin, nearly bringing the balcony down on top of us, followed by Joni Mitchell's "A Case of You," my favorite song from my favorite album, "Blue." The Ryman complimented her angelic voice and range from here to infinity perfectly. This was my first time seeing Birmingham Squadron live, and it certainly won't be the last. Ms. Carlile, a marvelous person, left me breathless and energized. To top it all off, 4 stars or however many I can give for this show.
